About The Studio
This incarnation of The Chicago BSM Studio has been in its current location for going on 11 years. The Studio is home to a talented group of professional Dominatrices and also welcomes new sex workers to come explore the options of the space. Called a “classical equipped dungeon” by visiting Mistresses, it is a true 27 year labor of love for owner, Mistress Simone of Chicago. Fully equipped with a plethora of gear and bondage furniture, any Dominatrix could entertain herself and clients for days. Community support has been a key component of Mistress Simone’s mission throughout her career and the Studio has been part of this. As home to many Chicago groups over the years, The Studio has provided a safe space for freedom of expression and BDSM education. In the past, it has hosted education weekends and events. Some of the groups which called The Studio home are TNGC, Rough Group, CCF and Chicago ABDL.
With the unexpected Covid crisis, The Studio joined the ranks of sex workers not able to make a living. BDSM creates a palpable energy which has been missing in the space since the shutdown. Without this energy, both spaces and sex workers suffer.
About The Studio’s fearless owner
Mistress Simone has been a staple in the Chicago and National BDSM community for over 25 years. Not one to talk about herself, her main goal is to educate and create unique BDSM/fetish scenarios. Her first independent BDSM studio was in 1995, making her the longest female owned dungeon space in Chicago. Always opening her doors to fellow Dominatrices, she provides a clean, well-equipped and unique no drama zone within her walls.
She has seamlessly blended being a lifestyle leather domme and professional Dominatrix, working tirelessly to educate both sides on the other. A leather titleholder, Mistress Simone is the first leather woman to hold 2 International titles and the first female International Puppy Trainer. She was the first Ms. Illinois Leather Woman. Her community involvement began as the operating manager and key social director of the original Leather Rose located on Fullerton Ave. Prior to that, she reinvented Taboo Tabou into the key fetish and sex retail destination it had been. Her education resume is extensive including a myriad of events, being a Kink Academy video educator, multiple writings including the chastity expert at Stockroom in the early 2000, Author of “The Toybag Guide to Chastity” by Greenery Press and her latest project, Her podcast “The Femme Domme Mystique.”
The Studio has helped many within the BDSM community and profession find their beginning and to some both the space and owner are home and Mom.
