Our Logan Square kitchen has a gas stove, large refrigerator with a freezer, coffee maker, tea kettle, glasses, corkscrew, plates, and cutlery items, so feel free to bring along items for an evening meal and morning meal. Can you hook me/us up with someone to play with?
We’re not a dating or hook-up service. However, if you’d like to hire Dominatrix Sophia Chase for a domination session, that option is available.
A session is playtime with Sophia
A session with a skilled professional dominatrix can be a thrilling experience for an individual, couple or threesome. This is the type of appointment most folks think of when you say you’re visiting a dominatrix. However, unlike the dominatrix stereotype we see in TV and movies, pain is not part of the scene unless that’s an interest of the submissive. Details about your interests will be discussed by email or phone with Sophia to be sure that she’s the right dominatrix for you, a date, time and duration for your session is set.
Unlike private instruction, where Sophia is in street clothes, for a session, she’ll be wearing more exciting fetish attire. Wardrobe requests can be accommodated when possible. Take a look at her website for a glimpse of the possibilities LadySophia.com.
While the play can be erotic, for legal reasons, there is no sex of any kind between Sophia and those she plays with. However, couples who session with her may be as intimate with each other as they like.
Individuals seeing Sophia will assume the role of the submissive. If a couple or threesome is seeing Sophia, there are a few different dynamics possible:
- She can dominate both partners
- She can co-top with a fellow dominant
- She can dominate one of you while the other watches as a voyeur
- She can join you as a service top where she can whisper in the ear of the dominant partner, helping them run the show or use her expertise to set a scene you could not do on your own. For example, she could place your partner in safe yet elaborate bondage (like plastic wrap suspension) and then leave you two to enjoy the predicament, skillfully arrange electrodes on one player and leave you instructions on how to play with a TENS unit safely, or help a novice top get into a dominant mindset and their partner into a submissive state.
The content varies based on the interests of the submissive or couple but the constants are: the submissive’s areas of interest will be discussed by email prior to the day of the session. When you arrive, Sophia will greet you at the door in street clothes, and you’ll sit down for a brief pre-scene negotiation where she’ll ask the submissive(s) questions better to understand their needs, desires, and limits, and they can ask any questions that they might have. Once everyone is on the same page, there’s time to use the bathroom, and Sophia will then, before stepping out for a few minutes to change attire, give you instructions on dressing/undressing and where to sit/stand/kneel until her return. Playtime happens. If an orgasm is an important part of the scene for the submissive, they are allowed to masturbate, or if it’s a couple, they can be as intimate as they want without Sophia’s physical involvement (though I can remain in the room / be involved in other ways). You’ll have time to compose yourself and use the shower, if desired/necessary, before leaving.
Standard Session Rate: $500/hour for individuals, $600/hour for couples
I’d like to bring music, do you have speakers?
Yes, we have Bluetooth speakers with audio jacks in all playrooms. Because music sets the mood for a scene we encourage you to bring whatever music you enjoy. If you’d like to try something different, ask us to borrow our old-school iPod featuring mixes perfect for playtime.
Could I book the dungeon for a party?
If your party is very small, yes. We limited the size of the rental groups to four. We are not set up for large parties.
How safe is the dungeon?
We take safety very seriously. Equipment at the dungeon is regularly inspected for signs of wear and either fixed or replaced. We encourage our renters to play within their skill set and are always happy to demonstrate new equipment. Bolt cutters are on the premises and all play rooms are equipped with fire extinguishers, utility shears, flashlights, sharps containers and first aid cabinets stocked with items tailored to BDSM emergency needs. These cabinets include:
- adhesive bandages
- individual packets of triple antibiotic ointment
- 70% isopropyl alcohol spray
- hydrogen peroxide spray
- antiseptic spray
- blood clotting spray
- burn spray
- ammonia inhalants (smelling salts)
- glucose tablets
- ibuprofen
- body heat reflecting blanket
How clean is the dungeon?
We believe cleanliness is essential for the safe use of a communally used BDSM space and when possible, we provide single-use disposable items. While we ask that renters spray and wipe down the bondage furniture, similar to how one would wipe down equipment at a gym, following a rental, the CDR staff are the ones who clean any furniture, toys, and equipment that have been used.
Based on the unique cleanliness needs of a dungeon, we’ve researched and carefully selected our cleaning equipment and products. They include:
UVee Sanitizing Toy Cleaners are used in addition to hand washing and spray cleaners to clean any equipment (nipple clamps, leather items, gags, cbt toys, and insertable such as vibrators, 100% silicone dildos and 100% silicone plugs) that can fit inside the 16.5″ x 8.75″ x 5″ units. These UV-C cleaners kill 99.9% of all bacteria, including yeast, E.coli, Salmonella, strep, Pseudomonas, and other microorganisms using prolonged exposure the UV-C light, a sanitizing process similar to smartphone sanitizers but specifically designed for adult toys.
A Dry Heat Sterilizer similar to those used at dental offices and hospitals is used to sterilize small metal implements, including Wartenburg pinwheels and hemostats in individually sealed nylon pouches, that include a color-changing sterilization indicator sticker.
Simple Green Pro-5 Industrial Disinfecting Cleaner is appropriate for use on everything except leather and fabric. It is the primary cleaner at the dungeon and a spray bottle is available in each room.
Sporicidin Disinfectant Spray is an EPA-registered hospital disinfectant that meets all of the EPA requirements for disinfection of hard, non-porous surfaces and can be used for a variety of applications. Effective against most common organisms, including H1N1, AIDS, MRSA, Influenza A2, Avian Flu, VRE, TB, Herpes, Escherichia coli (E.coli) and many others. It is also recommended for use in the clean-up of blood and body fluids that pose bacterial, fungal and viral health hazards. Sporicidin is a full-spectrum disinfectant that provides 100% kill of vegetative and odor-causing organisms. Sporicidin complies with the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard. It is also safe for use on porous materials like leather and soft plastics like the vinyl covering the bondage tables.
Because cleaning products are only as effective as how they’re used, here’s a run down of how dungeon items are cleaned:
- Depending on the material and type of item, they are washed with water and soap, sprayed, and wiped down with Lysol, Sporicidin Disinfectant Spray or the Simple Green Pro-5 to clean the surface.
-Cleaned items are then sprayed with the Simple Green Pro-5 Disinfectant or Sporicidin Disinfectant Spray until they are completely wet.
-Items to sit wet for 10 minutes for the surface to be disinfected.
-Any residual wetness is wiped up with a paper towel.
-Toys that can fit in our dry heat sterilizer or UVee Toy Sanitizers also undergo this additional sterilization or sanitization process. - Floors are regularly washed with Pine-Sol or Simple Green Pro-5 Disinfectant.
- Bed linens, bath towels, bondage rope, cloth blindfolds, etc., go through our washer and dryer. The Samsung washer at CDR includes sanitizing and allergen cycles which can eliminate up to 99% of bacteria and kill up to 95% of allergens in each laundry load.
Do you have additional questions about dungeon cleaning? We’d be happy to provide clarification and answer any questions that we can. Questions can be sent to [email protected]
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not permitted inside the CDR building. This includes e-cigarettes and weed.
Is alcohol allowed?
Almost always, NO. Do not drink and use dungeon equipment.
Sober BDSM play = low risk if you’re playing within your skillset.
Intoxicated BDSM play = high risk for both dominants and submissives.
Being buzzed or drunk affects your judgment, decision-making, sense of your body limits, and ability to handle an accident or emergency.
There are many other ways to calm your nerves, relax, and enjoy your dungeon visits without alcohol. Questions? We’re happy to offer suggestions: [email protected]
Sometimes, yes: a glass of champagne on a special occasion, overnight guests having wine with a meal, or a couple of drinks before getting in bed for the night with your partner is ok. But never bring glassware into playrooms; only use dungeon equipment when sober.
